Bob Wiedenmann, Sunwood Development Corp.'s Owner & President, started in the construction industry over 30 years ago. Beginning as a carpenter he quickly started his own company. In the 1980’s, Bob began to offer construction of room additions and custom homes in addition to carpentry services. In 1985, Bob started Sunwood Development Corp. with a vision of building and developing new homes and communities. Currently, Bob is working to grow the company from a small building company known for quality and integrity into a diversified company building homes, additions and neighborhoods throughout central CT.

Bob is an active member of the National Association of Home Builders, an NAHB Builder 20 Club, the Home Builders Association of CT & the Home Builders Association of New Haven County. Bob held the office of President in both the local and state associations. He is currently active on many boards & committees of both organizations.
