This ranch-style home features a beautiful open floor plan and thoughtful details, carefully tailored to the clients' lifestyle. The contract for this project was signed in October 2024 with a projected seven‑month timeline. Despite several changes requested during construction, the project remained on schedule, and we completed it in May 2025.
From day one, we focused on making the process clear and enjoyable while keeping the build within the agreed budget, which we established during a custom home budget planning session with Roy and Mary.

Mary and Roy chose the colors for the shingles, siding, flooring, paint, appliances, lighting, and faucets, adding a personal touch to every room. Our team guided them through each selection, ensuring they were confident in every decision they made.
How We Built Mary and Roy's Dream Custom Home: Step by Step
After the beautiful piece of land was secured and the house design style given to us, the process began. We started by grading and excavating the property to prepare for the foundation construction.
Once the foundation was complete, we moved on to the framework, then continued to the roof and prepared the home for siding.
After the roof was shingled and the windows and doors were installed, work inside began. Walls were put up, taped, and painted while some of our team worked outside building decks and handling exterior construction. Cabinets, flooring, appliances, and all fixtures were then added. In this home, Roy and Mary chose to have a fireplace installed, so that was added too.
With a custom build, you get to pick everything, from the style and color of the shingles and siding to the flooring, paint, and appliances. You also choose every fixture, such as lights and faucets, and this, as you know, is something Roy and Mary loved to do. Throughout the process, we were happy to answer questions and guide them through each decision.
When the home was complete and before move‑in, we walked through it with them. Anything that needed attention was addressed. Mary and Roy are now settled into their new forever home, built just the way they envisioned it.
